No matter how many countries you’ve traveled to or where your going, Prague will sweep you off your feet.
Local called Prague Praha in Czech. It is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. This lovely city is world famous for its one of a kind medieval architecture, cobblestones streets, fairly tale like vibes and its historical center which is also listed in the world heritage list.
If European cities were a necklace, Prague would be a diamond among the pearls. And if you want to see diamond up close, you should know the best place to start from. Drum roll please! Let me introduce McSleep in Prague.
McSleep. It sounds almost like twin brother of McDonald but I have been advised it has got nothing to do with it.
A prime location in Prague Old Town, spacious property lay-out, friendly management and their passion for meeting and helping out travelers makes it a wonderful little gem where you will feel at ease.
Clean, stylish, hotel standard facilities and services at a hostel price. Combined that with a spacious common area; easy to mingle and connect fellow travelers from around the world. McSleep consist of 4 dorms, 4 bathrooms, awesome lounge and a modern kitchen. Ready to show off your cooking skills? It is common in McSleep for travelers to cook and share their national food with everyone in the house. That’s just a start of a good party and friendship. Now who doesn’t like food and good times!
As Marek Banka, the hostel co-founder says, the main idea was to bring a new standard of hostel accommodation in Prague. In his own words: “My big inspiration was a month stay in a hostel in Miami Beach in 2011. I was on my 3 months solo trip around the US and was in Miami only for couple of days.
However upon arrival I prolonged for a month mainly because of the hostel. It had nice facilities and was easy to connect with other travelers. It was awesome. From that time on wards an idea to build a hostel in my hometown was stucked in my head.
Then in 2015 I met a traveler from Australia in Prague. She reminded me what happy life is about. Somehow I felt like I was ready to achieve my old dream but the only thing I was missing was money! After few months of searching for an investor I finally found a brilliant guy named Peter, a private pilot who loved the idea and philosophy of my project.
We bringing to our guests not just a place to sleep, but a place where they can easily connect with other travelers, have a trip of their life and enjoy a hotel standard facilities and services at a reasonable price. That’s how it all started and then in winter 2015 finally McSleep was born. McSleep Hostel Prague is your home in Prague. We
can´t wait to host you soon!”
Another good reason to stay in McSleep is its location. It is in walking distance to all the attractions in gorgeous Prague. World famous Old Town Square, Danube river, Charles bridge are only 10 minutes walk. 5 minutes walk from main shopping street and Dlouhá street – hot spot of Prague’s night life with best bars and restaurants. And if you are concern about good night sleep, worry no more as McSleep is tucked away from the noise and crowd. It is also only 3 minutes away from Main Bus Station and 10 minutes walk from Train Station. So the location is just perfect for travelers who are arriving Prague by bus or train.
Another plus point is free unique views of the city from their dorms. It is a nice little cool place, no wonder it has become famous among traveling community in such a short span of time.
Prague is a dream destination for photographers. It pulls off different looks everyday.
